More Information: In 1968 New York artist Deborah Hay hosted a workshop in Vancouver, sponsored by the Douglas Gallery, Intermedia, UBC and The Vancouver Art Gallery. Many members of the art community attended these workshops. This was the first of three workshops in Vancouver by New York’s Judson Dance Theater. The subsequent workshops were hosted by Yvonne Rainer and Steve Paxton. These photos are documentation from the culminating performance of the workshop at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
